Goals

I know it will come as a BIG surprise to all of you but I'm not a goal setter.  I guess I make short term ones in my head, like "wash the floor today," and things along that line.  Well Tery strongly suggested that at the beginning of the year I make a list of goals, long and short term.  So I am proud to announce that I have achieved one of my goals.


Goal #5 - take a photo of a hummingbird.

And yes I am aware of the irony? hilarity? that my goal involved a bird.

Canada Day 2012

Happy Canada Day!!!

Today we celebrated our country's birthday in the beautiful city of Victoria.

We decided to head downtown this morning and be part of the human flag.
T-shirts were to be handed out at 12 noon so we arrived early to get in line.

It's always a good day when you get your face painted.                                                                   

We chose to be part of the white of the flag.  (mostly because I didn't want a red shirt)

We ended up at the back right at the top of the maple leaf.
