My dad-in-law who is kind, caring, supportive and loving.
And I am also married to a man who is a spectacular dad. He gives his all. He is patient and wise. Caring and strong. Full of love.
We celebrated him yesterday with good food and fun times. He even got a few presents!
After our breakfast of eggs benedict or brekkie sandwiches we packed up and got in the VAN!! (Kamo was oh so excited). We drove to Mystic Beach where we hiked there, had a snack, swung on this rope swing. Who the heck got that rope up in the tree? As Ter mentioned later we just trusted that it was safe and placed our kids on it. It held up so all was well. Good thing too as it swung over this huge rock!
The hike back was basically uphill but we made it. Kamo on Ter's back, the rest of us on our own feet. Kamo did impress us as he made the entire 2km trek to the beach. He deserved a ride.
The ride home EVERYONE was sleeping (except me i was driving so i decided to stay awake)
Dinner was pulled pork burgers with coleslaw on top with a side salad and roasted potatoes.
Apple pie for dessert. And I must say that whoever made that pie (me) did a pretty fantastic job!
That was it.
