It seems like I am slowly realizing that life is moving forward and things keep changing. I am still shocked when I think that we have a teenager in the house. Was it not just yesterday that she was 3? As much as I would like to turn back time and make them little again I am very happy to have the privilege of watching them grow and being their mom. I am also very happy with the young woman that Willow has become. She is smart, kind, loving and the one thing that hasn't changed is she still bounds around like a new puppy when she is excited.
Yesterday she celebrated the end of Middle School. Graduating from Grade 8 and moving on to High School next year. It's a big deal.
Her and her classmates celebrated last night with a dinner and dance. Parents were not invited. We went to drop her off and see her friends all dressed up and bubbling with excitement.
Here she is in her finery!

Congratulations to Willow and to her parents. You've grown up too quickly but on the other hand we wouldn't have it any other way.
