Finally it came. We've been waiting a long time to celebrate it with him as well. We missed a few. When we didn't know about him. Then last year when he knew of him and had seen his photo. How sweet to celebrate such a special boy. He brings us great joy. He is such a character. At times during a meal he will just throw his head back and laugh. Pure Joy. He has a great laugh, contagious. He loves people and makes them feel loved. He loves his brother and his sisters. He is strong, funny, smart, and he is 4!
What a great weekend of celebration. Started off with a night of camping with our church family. Then a family celebration. Breakfast and then presents. He opened them up with such care and wanted me to take a picture of each one. He received a Lot (ok all) different kinds of vehicles. Firetruck, Police car, Dump truck, big fire truck... and he would open one and then go park it - perfectly in a very straight line - and then open the next.
We went to the beach where he told a complete stranger all about his new firetruck complete with siren noises and everything. At home we had barbecued pizzas. It was a hot day so we cooled off with the sprinkler and then had cake.
He was so determined to blow out those candles. He got his little hands on that cake stand and kept spinning it around until they were out in no time.

We can't wait to celebrate!!! We have his gift here and thought it would be best to see him open it. Seriously you will be here SO SOON!!!!!!!!
