Ret pulled his tooth today. With great cheerleading and encouragement from Dad.
This is the second tooth that he has lost. The first one was in Africa.
Just before we left for Lesotho Sundee had a dentist appointment and while we were in the waiting room we read a book about how different cultures celebrate the lost tooth.
In Africa the tradition is to throw your tooth on the roof. The story goes that a lizard then comes and takes your tooth and brings you a new one.
So today I asked Ret if he wanted to do this "African or Canadian." He chose African.
The tooth is now in my gutter!!!
